The bestchance Referral Program encourages current employees to refer quality candidates, including friends and family, to current job openings for a cash reward.

Simply refer a friend for a role below by filling out the Referral Program Form.

If your referred candidates successfully completes 3 months of employment, you will receive a reward in the form of a MasterCard or Visa gift card.

who is eligible to make a referral?

  • Permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual employees

  • Employees making a referral must be employed with bestchance at the time of referral and remain employed for the period of which the referred candidate completes three months of successful employment

who is not eligible?

  • Employees who are part of the recruitment process for the applicant. This includes reviewing resumes, shortlisting candidates, participating in interviews and reference checks

  • Contractors, temporary or agency staff (i.e. not on bestchance payroll)

  • Members of the Senior Management and People and Culture team

who can be referred?

  • Friends and family members can be referred for positions listed on the Refer a Friend webpage

which positions accept referrals?

  • Not all job vacancies will accept referrals. Only positions listed on this Referral Program webpage are open to referrals.
  • Referrals for non-advertised positions will require P&C review and approval

We are taking referrals for passionate people to join our Armstrong Creek East team to utilise their skills and make a meaningful impact to lives of children every day!

Referrals will be accepted for all permanent full-time, part-time, fixed term and casual positions across the Armstrong Creek East Children’s Centre and Kindergarten.

Your referral will stand out if they:

  • have experience in a child care or kindergarten environment, working within a strength-based and family centred approach
  • desire to develop warm, respectful and positive relationships with staff, children and families
  • a genuine passion in creating a safe, secure and nurturing environment
  • an ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.

In addition to the above your referral will need the following to be considered for this role:

  • completed an approved Education and Care qualification
  • hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check
  • hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting)
  • successfully completed ‘Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations for the Early Childhood Sector’ training
  • have a well-developed understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and National Regulations

We are taking referrals for passionate people to join our Bass Valley team to utilise their skills and make a meaningful impact to lives of children every day!

Referrals will be accepted for all permanent full-time, part-time, fixed term and casual positions across the Bass Valley Children’s Centre and Kindergarten.

Your referral will stand out if they:

  • have experience in a child care or kindergarten environment, working within a strength-based and family centred approach
  • desire to develop warm, respectful and positive relationships with staff, children and families
  • a genuine passion in creating a safe, secure and nurturing environment
  • an ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.

Referrals will be accepted for all permanent full-time and part-time Therapist/Key Worker roles across our Eastern, South Eastern and Western locations.

Your referral will stand out if they:

  • have demonstrated ability and knowledge to support children with developmental delay and disability
  • a genuine passion in creating a safe, secure and nurturing environment
  • an ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.

In addition to the above your referral will need the following to be considered for this role:

  • hold a degree and a professional registration relevant in Allied Health field
  • hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check
  • hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting)
  • hold or willingness to obtain a current NDIS check

We are taking referrals for passionate people to join our Cheshire School team to utilise their skills and make a meaningful impact to lives of children every day!

Referrals will be accepted for all permanent full-time and part-time Primary Classroom Teacher positions.

Your referral will stand out if they:

  • are highly skilled in designing learning that is differentiated for the abilities of a range of learners
  • have demonstrated experience in creative and innovative teaching practices
  • have a strong understanding of contemporary developments in education and a capacity to engage students who have a range of social, emotional and behavioural challenges
  • have a strong ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds

In addition to the above your referral will need the following to be considered for this role:

  • completed a Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent qualification
  • hold a valid registered Victorian Institute of Teaching card

We are taking referrals for passionate people to join our Cheshire School team to utilise their skills and make a meaningful impact to lives of children every day!

Referrals will be accepted for all permanent full-time and part-time Education Support Officer positions.

Your referral will stand out if they:

  • are committed to the management of students with social, emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties
  • have a strong ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds

In addition to the above your referral will need the following to be considered for this role:

  • hold a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Education Support
  • hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check
  • hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Provide an emergency first aid response in an education
