We provide inviting play areas with a focus on natural materials and resources. We believe in the importance of both the indoor and outdoor environment to support the children’s ability to observe, explore, imagine, make choices and problem solve.
At Dandenong South Primary Kindergarten, we are very conscious of keeping our staff and children safe in the sun; therefore we are official participants in the SunSmart program.
We are located in a diverse community, with many families, staff and members of the community coming from all across the world! We also celebrate multiculturalism and include a variety of cultural events throughout the year.
Dandenong South Primary Kindergarten focuses our excursions on exploring the local community. The children experience a range of new activities, meet new people, visit new places and develop an understanding of the world around them.
Our program helps children cope with the exciting and challenging period of change that marks their transition to primary school. Partnering with our local Primary School, the children have the opportunity to visit and interact with students.
